Background

Rocco Cheng and Associates (RCA) is established in 2015 by Dr. C. Rocco Cheng. It is established with the vision to provide culturally and linguistically responsive training, consultation, and technical assistance to agencies and individuals. Dr. Cheng was professionally trained as a licensed psychologist and a person with lived experience with mental health conditions. He worked in a large private, non-profit agency for over two decades and eventually in a senior management position.

Work with agencies and individuals from a strength perspective to empower them.

Acknowledge and honor individual differences as well as the diverse cultural and lived experiences of individuals and agencies.

Encourage and support individuals and agencies growth and be their best in living and service others.

RCA Team

RCA has several associates with graduate degrees and diverse experiences from Los Angeles and Bay Area. They are professionally trained as mental health providers and several of them also bring personal lived experiences as individuals with mental health conditions and/or family members of individuals with mental health conditions.

About Dr. C. Rocco Cheng

Dr. Cheng was born and raised in Taiwan and came to the US for graduate degree. He is licensed as a psychologist in CA since 1996. Dr. Cheng worked in a large private, non-profit organization for over 20 years. He worked as a crisis counselor, team coordinator, project coordinator, program director, and corporate director.

API Youth Video Contest 2018: Go Beyond Stigma!

 

The purpose of the “Go Beyond Stigma!” API Youth Video Contest is to create dialogue through short videos that increase the awareness of mental health issues and how they may impact the lives of API youth and the larger API community.
